Dragons and Damsels

These are the first I have seen this year. 

Four-spotted Chaser




Large Red Damselfly


Banded Demoiselles are not easy to get close to and I will need to improve these shots I have taken so far.

  2. Oh, Roy, these pictures make my heart sing!! Just beautiful! I had a Four-spotted Skimmer on my property just the other mornng. Sadly, he didn't pose so nicely for me and my pictures aren't sharable!! I was pretty excited, none-the-less!

  6. Hey Roy...Improve "What" they are stunning!!
    The Red on the buttercup is very showy, but the Banded with those outstanding shades of blue and green is a beauty!!

  10. Stunning images Roy and a great variety of Dragons & Damsels :-) For one reason or another I haven't been able to get out and chase these summer beauties yet but I'm glad to see that you have had better luck :-) Those Demoiselles are real beauties aren't they !
