Blackcap Arrival
During the previous few days I have been hearing the Blackcap singing.
Although some remain over winter, the majority migrate and return around this time.
Blackcap (Male) |
This below is quite often the regular view you will have of the Blackcap, which will be singing away in dense bushes.
Finding him is a problem.
A scene below was taken during the walk.

White Reflections
I was fortunate to take a few shots of this Little Egret and hopefully it was going to get a little closer.
However, it was then spooked by a pair of Mallards that took off suddenly close by and it then followed.

The Unhelpful Chiffchaff
There is one thing about Chiffchaff when they first arrive in Spring that will cause a little difficulty when taking photographs. They tend to spend most of their time high up in the taller trees singing.
You can soon find them, but a good level view is not available.
They do take pity on us later on though when they come down to our level more.
