Observed Nuthatch Behaviour

The other morning I was watching a Nuthatch that was high up in a tree searching for food.
It was using its beak to lift up lichen and finding insects which forms part of its varied diet.

  4. Hi Roy, so nice to see his behaviour. Upside down is always funny to see and they can even manage to eat upside down!
    Nice series.

    Kind regards,

  5. I love to photograph birds, but watching their behavior is even more fun. Always neat to learn something new about them. These are great shots, as always.
