I have seen quite a number of Peacock Butterflies already so this is encouraging at least, even if there are still no sightings (by me) of the Speckled Wood or Orange Tip.
Hey Roy...Hopefully this is to be the year of Peacock : )!! Lovely colors!! I just did the walking trail with my friend and I say my first butterfly the Mourning Cloak, no camera though : ( Grace
Lovely Peacocks Roy :-) I too haven't been able to find any Orange-tips of Speckled Woods yet but I know from other local nature lovers that they are now on the wing up here in Yorkshire.
A real stunner!! This butterfly would stop me dead in my tracks!! Great photos.

ReplyDeleteThanks David, any day now I hope.
DeleteIt is beautiful. I love the colors and don't remember ever seeing a red one.
ReplyDeleteThanks Laura, its one of our common ones, thankfully.
DeleteThe peacock is really a beautiful butterfly. The eyes and the colors of the butterfly make him particularly graceful. Very nice series. Compliment.
ReplyDeleteThanks Helma.
