The Crocus plant I found the other day on a woodland path is still to my surprise, intact and in flower.
So I took a couple of shots with the sun behind the subject.

I also took a couple of 'Soft Focus' shots, which I think provides a nice alternative to in focus images providing the light is right.
A lovely flower, enhanced by the lovely shots! A sure sign that spring is around the corner!

Lovely set Roy, especially the last one.
ReplyDeleteThese always brighten a day. I saw a couple of this type a few days ago.
Thanks Keith.
DeleteSo you found the sun, it was hiding behind these Crocuses all the time?...I wondered where it was!!!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful set of colourful images Roy. I like the soft focus treatment you've applied to the last two...[;o)

ReplyDeleteThanks Mary. Yes hopefully more flowers soon.

Thanks GG.
DeleteThey are lovely Roy, so cheerful! I'm really good at soft focus.....well, more unintentionally out of focus really ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Jan. {:))
DeleteLovely photos Roy, it certainly feels and looks more like spring when the sun is shining :-) I also enjoyed your last post with the Sepia images :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks David, yes it certainly helps to have that bit of sun now.
DeleteA super set of photos to cheer us all up. The first in soft focus is very striking, the shadows and the angle make it seem very 'other-worldly'. They almost look like exotic fungi:)
ReplyDeleteThanks Sweff.
DeleteHow lovely! Mine are a little deeper purple. Good to see spring is coming on the big island!
ReplyDeleteThanks Evie, yes it is just peering through the clouds, I think.
DeleteThis lovely crocuses. I am equal to the spring thinking. Here come the crocuses just above the ground, but the weekend is unfortunately snow predicted.
ReplyDeleteThanks Helma, yes we have rain today.
