I know "Not more butterflies".
Well I think that when you have so many Orange Tip flying this year you have to make the best of it.
They do make a lovely subject.

These four shots below I took of one male that was pitched on a Cuckoo Flower and there was water in the background. I couldn't get a better angle than this as I would have blocked out the sun and it would have disturbed the butterfly. Of course it would stay on the opposite side all the time as thats where the open flowers were.
We can never get too many butterflies (or images of them) Roy...keep 'em coming.
ReplyDeleteThe Orange Tip is always good to see and you've captured some cracking images here. Do you bribe them to 'sit' for you?...those I've seen around here seem to have itchy feet and rarely pitch for more than a few seconds...lol.

DeleteHI Roy No No NO! I NEVER get tired of seeing butterflies and your photographs of them are marvelous. I was in the garden today and saw 2 white butterflies but racing round after each other at the speed of light!!
