It is a difficult time to find something interesting in nature at the moment. Birds are hiding away in the thick leafy areas. Many of the butterflies are over or not at their best. Wader and shore birds have yet to return to the area.
With what is normally a more quiet time and the exceptionally wet and continuous rainfall, finding something different is difficult.
I walked around Lodmoor Reserve,Weymouth and the most interesting thing was two Black-tailed Godwits in their Summer plumage and a Little Egret.
At Portland I found a few distant Goldfinch, some butterflies and many immature Starlings.

Bonsoir cher Roy.
DeleteHei Roy! Aivan ihanat havainnot.
