Dragons at Last

The Four-spotted Chaser Dragonfly (Libellula quadrimaculata)
Several males were observed around a small pond. The first I have seen of this species this year.

Yes at last a few Dragonflies. I also observed a disappearing Broad-bodied, but only from a distance.

Sony Alpha 6000. 55-210mm lens. 1/400 at f8. 315mm. ISO320

  7. Cracking images Roy. Yep, dragons seem to be in short supply so far this year. Hopefully they'll put in an appearance soon?...[;o)

  9. Hey Roy.... Nice to be seeing dragonflies, I am now starting to see butterflies ,so it will be awhile before I see them!!!
