  1. An excellent set of images Roy, the sepia effect works well especially on the 'avenue of trees' shot...[;o)

  2. How spooky, I was just thinking the other day of taking some images and doing a B&W post. Not that I've been able to get out the last few days. I love the avenue shot too and also the pollarded trees. Reminds me of the Somerset Levels here. (-:

  6. Very nice, Bob. It really feels like 'the good old days', especially the 4th picture was made for this effect. Well done!

  8. How different everything looks like that Roy, I suppose it's how Ferry Meadows would have looked in olden days ;).

    1. Yes John I wonder how it really looked. It looks like it was part of the adjoining Estate.

  12. I love sepia photos. I took a few in Rome over the past few days - think nature and old ruins (etc.!) look so good in sepia and black/white. Vintage and moody.

    1. Thanks Helena, sepia is just right for Rome as green is for Tuscany.
