Roy, the train makes me think of "Thomas and his friends" stories. My younger son has a collection of Thomas-and-his-friends books and I love many stories included in them. Have you ever read them? They are funny, mischievous, friendly, touching... and if I imagine the new year uncurling in their way, what an interesting year it would be! :)
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your loved ones!
For you a merry Christmas too, and of course a wonderful 2013. The Robin is so cute, they always are the perfect bird for Christmas wishes. Every winter we have our 'own' Robin in the garden which I enjoy very much. I also want to say that your previous blog 'Scenes from a Parkland Walk', is very very nice. You and the Lumix have made beautiful photo's.
Merry Christmas, Roy!! ...and the best in the New Year to you too.
(My son, Matty, loved Thomas the Tank Engine when he was little. I enjoyed watching the shows with him because Ringo Starr narrated them! That train is very Thomas-esque!)
Merry Christmas to you and yours Roy and the very best of wishes for a super New Year...[;o)
