Reed Warbler

Found this pair of Reed Warblers at one of the locations I would normally expect to find them.
In fact this appears to be the first pair arriving. There are normally several pair in the vicinity each year. There was no sign of nest building, but its early days for them.

  1. It's always good to hear the first Reed Warbler singing - though they can get on the nerves a bit after that!

  2. Hienot kuvat! Meille on ilmestynyt jokin yö laulaja, joka valvottaa.

  3. The early birds get the best spot...looks like they're staking their claim?
You did well to get them both in the same shot...[;o)

  7. Hey Roy... I love when the warblers arrive here. I am up to 8 different kinds so far.
They are so much smaller then one would think, well they are here anyway. Not easy to photograph.
You always seem to have great photos, and this little guy gave you some great looks. :)
