Flowers of the Forest

These are images of flowers found currently around my woodland walk which include some open areas as well. So "of the Forest" is not strictly correct.

  4. It's always good to see the colour returning to the countryside Roy, and you've captured some lovely examples here.
    I like the Whitebells, I've only seen one example (sadly trampled!) so far this year...[;o)

    Check out Greater Stitchwort (Stelaria holostea) and Bugle (Ajuga reptans)

  8. Something tells me if you were to look at what I'm calling wood sorrel on my blog, you may well correct me and say its stitchwort! I'm a terrible botanist!

    I even have to foot Cabling, no flowers in the woods because I still walk in plaster. Wonderful to see them than in other well :-)
