Odonata Arrivals

A couple of recent sightings.

First the female Broad-bodied Chaser (Libellula depressa).



Secondly a male and female Banded Demoiselle (Calopteryx splendens).

    Only seen one dragon so far this year, and that was a Four-spot Chaser.

  6. Fab! I only saw my first damselflies a few days ago - a couple of Blue Tailed ones who were flitting about and then mating. Thought I'd have seen more by now. Well it's something to look forward to as summer progresses. Great photos as usual! :-)
