Bee - Orchid

Ah! I guess you thought you were going to see images of a Bee Orchid (Ophrys apifera), but I had forgotten to post the Orchid images so I thought this was a good way to do it. Sorry.{:))

This is a B. Rupestris I think.

  1. I thought, blimey that's nice and early!! However?....cracking shots of the bees Roy, something I've not been too successful at, they keep on moving!...and the Orchids, I've not seen any as yet this year!...great post...[;o)

  9. The orchid photos are lovely. I know a couple of places where they grow round here, must go and look for them though it may be a touch early yet.

  12. Great to see how the legs of the bee sitting among the pollen. You did well noticed and nicely brought into sharp focus. Wild orchids are also wonderful to see. Really enjoy again host.
