We are back to square one in this area.
More rain has caused yet more flooding and the day I took these images it was very windy.
This probably means more rain on the way.
I'm wondering if the blue sky in the images will last very long.
I didn't think I would see much on the walk, but this Treecreeper below turned up and saved the day somewhat, as far as getting any meaningful nature images.
Way in the distance I could see this Roe Buck feeding on grass and being kept company by several Hen Pheasants. I had to X2 the range of the lens to get the shots. Much of the field he was in was waterlogged.
Blue Tit |
A curious Robin. |
One wild flower that can be found along the paths and in the fields now is the Lesser Celandine.
I could hear the sound of a Woodpecker tapping on wood and discovered high up in a tree, a pair of Great Spotted Woodpecker. As most always, getting a clear shot was not possible.
The Chiffchaff continues to show and catch available flies over the river.
Great Tits are now very vocal and show quite well.
Tosi paljon vettä ! Voi, miten kauniita valokuvia olet ottanut!
ReplyDeleteHei Anne. Kiitos paljon ystävällisistä sanoistasi.
DeleteHi Roy....A lot of wetland! but beautiful photos. Very beautiful birds and beautiful deer!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Regards Maria
Thanks Maria.
DeleteMore lovely photos and I especially love the Treecreeper. Wow, your fields are really waterlogged. Heard on the news you had had the wettest February on record or something like that. Seems pretty miserable and damp here this winter, although one of the neighbouring departments is still in drought!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mandy. Wettest Feb, I can believe it.! We need some dry weeks now to get back to normal.
DeleteHi Roy, beautiful photos of your walk. The treecreeper is difficult to photograph, he is very quick. Have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteThanks Caroline.
