On 25th February I posted about a pair of Nuthatch that had used a hole in a tree the year before, but this year the hole had been attacked by probably a Woodpecker and made much larger.

There has been some progress, but painfully slow. The Nuthatch pair are using mud and small sticks to try and repair the hole. This is taking a long time. The first clutch of Nuthatch is laid in mid April so there is tine yet to complete the work.
