Eclipse Plumage - Goldeneye Duck

Generally Ducks in eclipse plumage do not look at their best.
This Goldeneye I photographed recently at Radipole Lake Reserve Weymouth is certainly no exception.

  4. Super shots. They were common on Lake Geneva in winter but have never seen one since we moved away from that area. Never mind, I'll have to go to Dorset instead! ;-)
