Birds at Ferry Bridge - Oystercatcher

The Oystercatcher is a striking bird with opposing colours and always worth a photograph.
They are regularly observed at Ferrybridge.

  1. Lovely photos, Roy. I don't know if anything does prey upon Oystercatchers (apart from wildlife photographers) but they seem to have given up on any ideas of camouflage or secrecy. I presume that nothing cares to take on a bird armed with such a formidable bill.

  4. I often see Oystercatchers here with me.
Then the trick is to be able to photograph them beautifully.
    You did very well.
