Note: I am having major problems with this blog at the moment. I am not always able to reply to comments or comment on other blogs. Apologies for that. I am working on it.
Good to see they've returned Roy...nice images. I can see more photo sessions coming up over the next few months!...[;o)
ReplyDeleteAivan ihanat kuvat, hienosta linnusta!
ReplyDeleteThanks Trevor, hopefully considerably sharper shots as well.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images.. Cheers
ReplyDeleteSLightly subdued for winter
ReplyDeleteLovely to see the Stonechat returning and very good images of them Roy
ReplyDeleteHi Roy. Your top three shots (and the fifth down) show a Whinchat. Which is a better bird! Was it at FM? Mike W
ReplyDeleteThe one bird is a Whinchat, the other with the more orange chest is a Stonechat.
ReplyDeleteHi Mike, I wasn't sure about it being a Stonechat, but just went on the fact that it was in the same company with the Stonechat.
ReplyDeleteYes, in the usual place along the fence line about half way.
Thanks.
Thanks Matthew.
ReplyDeleteThanks Margaret and Simon.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, it's been a good two years since I saw them in Northumberland. Have been very lucky this week to see Crossbill in one of our local woods.
ReplyDeleteAmanda xx
Thanks Amanda, Not seen a Crossbill for quite a while, in fact only ever seen a couple of birds twice.
DeleteThanks PS.
