Song Thrush

Another sign that the weather is generally mild (apart from last week) and the season is moving on at a pace. It must be something to do with this mild weather that the Song Thrush is already singing from high up in the trees. I found a few on my walk and one was certainly singing away at the top of its voice.

    I love to see shots of any thrushes and song thrushes are especially nice.

      Not with my new main computer Wilma, but I did have a problem with the iPad. Not tried it lately to see, very strange though.

      That is strange. The other person who was having a problem had it only only her tablet (not iPad) not on her laptop. This gives me enough info to check on blogger help. Thanks!

    I have been hearing one here singing now for a few weeks and has visited my garden too, lovely to see and hear this bird. Lovely captures Roy.

    A lovely singer.
    On my early morning walk with Whisky I count 4 and 1 in the distance, all singing heartily.

    Stunning photos Roy.. we rarely see a Song Thrush these days, yet when I was a child we used to get lots in the garden

    Here in New England, it has been really mild also. We are having our first cold snap of the winter. Tuesday, it will be raining.

    Hey Roy...Love the thrush family, with there beautiful songs, and there lovely patterned chest. Will be nice when I hear our thrush come Spring. It has been crazy in the weather department here. Two mornings of 10 below zero, this morning 18 above, with 4 inches of snow and freezing rain, then by afternoon heavy rain,high winds, and at the moment it is 50 degrees. Go figure !!
