Hey Roy... I can see that your Song thrush is very much like our Hermit, and Wood thrush. There song is so wonderful. I hear them in the woods just in back of the house here. I do get to see them now and then, but not when I have the camera of course. Nice photo's of it, especially love there chest markings!
Roy, what a simple beauty this bird is. I can only imagine its song! Our thrushes sing so beautifully. I have been seeing and hearing both hermit and Wood thrushes here, as well as the occasional Swainson's thrush! Oh, and Veerys too!
A beautiful bird to see and these are very sharp shots Roy.

DeleteLovely bird, we have one who comes into our garden regularly, we hear the tap, tap, tap on our path and find empty, broken snail shells everywhere :-)
ReplyDeleteI found a 'Thrushes Anvil' the other day a small stone at the side of a path with broken shells around it Lyn.
