Bar-tailed Godwit

I definitely had to look this one up in the book. 
This little flock was quite amenable to being approached and also put on short flight displays.

  6. Wow! I think I saw these last year, along with Black Tailed Godwits about 2 hours south of where I live. Not flocks of them like you though. Lovely photos. :-)
