Bar-tailed Godwit

I definitely had to look this one up in the book. 
This little flock was quite amenable to being approached and also put on short flight displays.

    It is easier to tell when they are in flight. A great series of shots.

    Wow! I think I saw these last year, along with Black Tailed Godwits about 2 hours south of where I live. Not flocks of them like you though. Lovely photos. :-)
