  5. What a lovely series of portraits.
    There is so much variety in the different breeds of sheep you have over there. Unfortunately there is but a few Dutch (people :) ) who appreciate their nearly forgotten diversity of sheep.

  10. What ever kind of sheep these are, we seem to have the same variety over at the nearby Crystal Spring Farm. I took a few photos of them on my visit there in May and some of your shots look so similar! England or New England, the sheep are still the same!

    1. The first and last shots are adult sheep probably of the breed known as 'Mule', Kathie.
      The rest are what we call Fat Lambs (not yet adult). They are probably the 'South Down' breed, although there is a lot of cross breeding as well which makes it difficult.
