Odds and Ends

Just a few odd images that I haven't posted from recent walks.

It pays to complete some stretching exercises before vigorous exercise

Everyone's favourite - The Robin.

Greylag Geese are pairing off now and moving away to quiet locations for Spring time.

A noisy Black-headed Gull

Not another Nuthatch

  2. Great set of 'odds and ends' images Roy, especially the Greylag and the Nuthatch.

I've noticed that a lot of the local waterfowl have started to pair off and are now looking for suitable nest sites. Unfortunately, with the high water levels at the moment, there's not many good sites available to them!...I hope things improve soon!!...[;o)

  10. Nice odds and ends. It's funny how your robins look different from ours and I wish we had swans around here.

    1. Thanks John. We have quite a few spare Mute Swans around, but oddly enough they are all deemed to be the property of Her Majesty the Queen. One of those strange historical facts.
