Sorry. 😀  I am just going to bore you with one more set of Bearded Tit images this Winter.

All taken at Radipole Lake Reserve Weymouth.

 

Mr Thrush and the Ivy Berries

I observed this Song Thrush feeding on the Berries of the Tree Ivy (Hedera Helix).

Tree Ivy provides a food source for Insects and birds in the form of nectar pollen and berries, it also provides shelter.

The berries have a high fat content and is a nutritious source for birds.

A recent collection of images taken on a visit to local Reserves.

The first being a Water Rail which I don't get to see every day.

I check this area regularly at Lodmoor, usually without success.

An overflying Male Gadwall duck provided this image.
