I photographed this Chiffchaff, which was moving about the reeds at Radipole Reserve Weymouth the other day. Quite a good place for it to overwinter as there is plenty of cover and food for it to survive.
Most Chiffchaffs arrive on Summer migration in late March and leave again in August/September. I wasn't aware until a couple of years ago that some remain all year. I photographed one in Winter and was not sure until a Birding colleague who knows all there is to know about bird Identification (Thanks MW) identified my shot.
