A 360 degree view of the Small Skipper.
This female was posing under a dull sky.
Butterflies tend to like the sun to come out for flying.
There is little difference between a male and female. The male will have a thin black line in the centre of its upper 'dihedral' wings.
So that's how you manage to get them to stay put...you get them surrounded!
