Frosty Grazing

These horses certainly needed their coats on when grazing in the meadow the other morning.

The Robins observed on the same walk were also looking for food, which they probably guessed I had in my bag.

  1. We used to keep a couple of Shetland ponies on the farm to keep a piece of waste ground tidy. They used to positively thrive on such unappetising grazing.

  2. Hey Roy... Looks like a bit of chilly morning. I bet the coats felt comfy. Love that Robin you see there, that
makes it to may Christmas cards here in the states.

  6. Horses and birds! You have combined my two favorite animals! Nice series! But, we have much more snow over here in Maine, and it is snowing again today! Those horses would be up to their bellies in snow if they were here right now!
