Woodland Wonder

I always look forward to visiting a local wood to see the Wood Anemones at this time of year.

  4. it's the delight of spring when the first flowers appear, the first butterflies are on the wing and the first migrants appear

  5. Beautiful Roy, I have never seen such a lovely carpet of the Wood Anemones, I see patches of them but not such a lovely spread of them covering the woodland floor.

  7. Hey Roy... Just a stunning sight, and awesome photos. The close ups are especially beautiful with the light behind them,so delicate looking. Laying in the middle of them would be like laying in the clouds :).
