Butterfly of Week

The Orange Tip stands out as the butterfly of the week.
I have seen an increasing number as the week progressed.
Fortunately the warm sunny weather helped bring them out.
So far I have only observed the male.

    I've seen several this week too, but by the sound of the weather forecast they're in for a nasty surprise in a few days.

      Thanks John, yes not great, but weather forecasts are always a bit doubtful.

    A lovely butterfly to see Roy, and a great set of images.
    I did manage to get a picture of a pitched female a few days ago but, unfortunately, all the males I've seen so far seem to be on a mission and are far too busy to stop for a photo session!...[;o)
