these are brilliant. it is not often you can get above Swallows Roy but you managed it very well from the high bridge. Have a good week ahead.
Well done! They fly so fast that photographing them is practically impossible with my little camera. They are the most beautiful birds though - wonderful colours and always elegant and graceful.

Fabulous series Roy. Not often I see them photographed from above. Didn't realise they were so colourful.
Never an easy pastime but you did well. I've tried capturing tree swallows in flight and it's extremely difficult and have had no luck.
Thanks John. You should see all the failures I shot.{:))
Wowsers! I'm really impressed! :-)
Thanks Mandy.
Hey Roy... Awesome shot's from the top . These birds move quickly so not an easy task.Grace
Thanks GG.
Great shots Roy.
Thanks Ian.
...love these. The second is so cool. You can see all the primaries and secondaries--very cool--and hard to do.
Thanks Kelly.
...but a terribly rewarding past-time by the looks of things.
It gets a little frustrating, but when you see some results it makes it worth it Simon.
Brilliant shots Roy! You have to be fast on the trigger to capture these ;-) love the reflection of the Swallows on the water.
Thanks Lyn.{:))
Félicitations Roy, quelle performance, je n'ai jamais eu ce résultat !
Merci Nathalie, je a eu la chance.
Wow Roy, these are stunning photos for sure, especially with the beautiful reflection on the water too :-)
Thanks David.
Stunning imges -phew - can't stop looking at them
Thanks Jennifer.
You did a great job with these! I've never managed to catch swallows in a photo. :-)
Thanks Gunilla.
Roy, these are amazing! I love how you captured the shadows as well!
Thanks Kathie, the shadows were just luck.{:))
This sequence reminded me the cover of a disc from Mike Oldfield...Great shots, Roy!
I remembered the name of the album... "The complete" from Mike Oldfield.
Thanks Ana, not an artist I have listen to so I will bow to your superior knowledge on the subject.{:))
