Roy This series of Butterflies is fantastic. You are so good at capturing them I know not an easy job as the oones I see usually are travveling at the speed of light!
ReplyDeleteThanks Margaret.
DeleteYou have been rather lucky with your Butterflies, and wonderfully photographed, as we have not round here. Had my first Butterfly of the year in the garden on Saturday, which caused great excitement...a Speckled Wood

Lots of lovely photos here - especially like the one of the male and female orange tip. So far I haven't seen many butterflies this year, just odd ones here and there.
ReplyDeleteThanks D. We just haven't had the good weather long enough.
DeleteNice group of bugs. I'm always impressed with the variety you have.
ReplyDeleteThanks Steve, hope to find a few more soon.
Deletegeweldig zoveel mooie vlinders in een paar dagen.
ReplyDeleteGreat variety of butterflies!
ReplyDeleteThanks FG.
DeleteWell done on still having orange tips about - they were around for about a week here then disappeared. Skippers are fun. Can never tell the large from small and end up guessing half the time!
ReplyDeleteThanks Simon.
DeleteHey Roy.... I love seeing all your lovely butterfly shot's, and as always these are very nice.
ReplyDeleteNow if I could just get a break to see some, way to busy here right now :(.
Grace
PS. your header is gorgeous ;)
Thanks GG.
DeleteA good selection Roy, I'm still looking for my first Large Skippers and Marbled White's of the year. We need more sunshine and less wind!!...[;o)
ReplyDeleteThanks Trevor, yes we definitely do, otherwise the Summer will be over.
DeleteHello Roy,
ReplyDeleteQuelle chance de voir l'Aurore ! Très belle série, tu avais de quoi faire :)
Bises
Merci Nathalie, aucune chance de voir l'Aurora où je suis
Deletebisous
ça arrive de temps en temps. Je l'ai vue à Corby il y a vingt ans.
DeleteLovely butterflies. I think I caught a fleeting glimpse of a marbled white in Hampshire last week!
ReplyDeleteThanks Alison, probably as they are usually a little ahead of us in butterfly arrivals.
DeleteHi Roy
ReplyDeleteI always love your beautiful photos of the butterflies.
All the best.
Guy
Thanks Guy.
DeleteLovely collection - I haven't seen any Orange Tips for a while now, so guess they are done for the year. Nice seeing the summer flutters appearing. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Mandy. The flight time lasts until mid July, but few and far between now.
