With the extreme hot weather we have experienced recently there has been a good chance to increase a variety of nature images for the Blog. Temperatures of at least 30 c have been experienced.
A good start was the Marbled White Butterfly that showed very well.

A sign that it is incredibly hot at the moment was this female Blackbird that continued to regularly open its beak which indicates the conditions.
This Wren was making quite a lot of noise amongst the undergrowth. I think there may have been some territorial dispute going on.
