On Ferry Bridge waters Weymouth, the first Bar-tailed Godwit I have seen this Autumn.
There were only two, but it was good to be able to get some shots of them.
Just a few Mediterranean Gull on Ferry Bridge waters.
I found this female Kestrel hiding out in a small tree and bramble bush area.
Taking shelter from the hot sun for a while after a meal maybe.
I know what you're thinking.
'Not more !?!!?!! Wheatear.'
This will be the last lot this year, I promise. 😇
Gorgeous photos, every one.
ReplyDeleteThanks John.

DeleteGreat photos! You forced me to look up the difference between the Bar tailed Godwit and the Black tailed Godwit! When do they start to arrive in this country?
ReplyDeleteHi Sal, they arrive in late Summer to early Winter from their Artic breeding grounds.
DeleteMon cher Roy, je suis toujours admirative de tes photos. Elles sont brillantes !
