A Butterfly Shoot

Images from my latest Butterfly Shoot.

A few Chalk Hill Blues were found.
From what I could see they have only just emerged in the last day or so.

There are still a few Dingy Skippers around.
The Large Skipper flight time however is in full swing.

The very difficult to find Grayling has now appeared.
Not too much emphasis on the word appeared though as they are never easy to track.

The Marbled White is everywhere now and if you can get the right background they really do stand out.

Silver-studded Blues can still be found, but many are not that photogenic anymore.

The image below shows, scaled against the grass, how small this species is.
