As this Little Egret discovered, fishing in Ferry Bridge Waters, Weymouth this week is never easy when there is a 40+mph (70km) gale blowing.
Standing up straight or crouching down and holding a long lens to shoot a few photographs is not a bundle of fun either.
However for both of us, it was worth doing it as the bird caught plenty of fish and I got the shot.
A couple of views over Ferry Bridge and the Fleet waters, a grim place to be when the gale is blowing.
The other side of the Pebble stone ridge that is Chesil Beach.
Beautiful place and shots... Nice sequence of this lovely Egret... Be safe
