A Shy Bird Day

It was one of those days when every bird that I observed was quite camera shy.

The female Green Woodpecker below was a long way from my position and trying to hide. 

These shots are quite heavily cropped.

The male Blackcap was being quite awkward as well. 

He was either high up or trying to get in the shade. 

The Wren was being his usually self, hiding away and scalding me with his call.

Apart from the Robin of course, who will usually be quite accommodating.
