There had been a lot of rain overnight in the Parkland, hence the raindrops on the snowdrops buds.
This is the natural way to photograph such subjects rather than taking a bottle of water with you and sprinkling it on the flowers such as they suggest in the photographic magazines.
Lovely scenes from the 'damp' parkland Roy, and a nice set of 'au naturel' Snowdrop images.
ReplyDeleteDon't read too many of those photo mags...they'll addle your brain!...[;o)
Thanks Trevor, I will try and avoid them.
DeleteHey Roy..The natural way of photographing water drops is definitely more appealing. At the moment here the drops are in the form of ice lol! Beautiful shots as per usual. :)

DeleteLovely snow(drops) and nice blue skies :-). Of course the natural way is the best Roy!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend,
Marianne
Thanks Marianne.
DeleteI can never believe how early the Snowdrops bloom for you.
ReplyDeleteAlways nice to see them FG, means Spring is not far away.
DeleteWe can only dream of snowdrops here in Ontario. Still a lot of winter left yet!
ReplyDeleteHope it will come soon for you David.
DeleteHello Roy,
ReplyDeletethat's fun to watch .. spring can come
Greetings Frank
Thanks Frank.
DeleteHi Roy.. Beautiful set of pictures and lovely header.. Happy weekend..
ReplyDeleteWonderful to see the snowdrops (and aconites, plus the occasional crocus). Gorgeous photos.
ReplyDeleteThanks Alison, yes its that time again.
DeleteThese are beautiful and everything looks so green! I would never have thought of taking a bottle of water along to spritz the flowers for photos. Now I'll be suspicious every time I see a water dripping flower photo :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Mary. :)
