Reeds at the Seeds

Reed Buntings in their winter plumage eating various seeds.
The weather being very cold now they are now constantly searching for food.

    Lovely set of pictures of the Reed Bunting, can't be easy for our birds during the winter, constantly on the move looking for food, can never relax and doze off like us after having a big meal :-)

    Gorgeous photos of the Reed bunting, Nick, it is quite difficult here to get the male in breeding plumage...
