Plovers Numerous

"Can you spot the Golden Plover"

A visit to Titchwell Marsh provided the wonderful sight of a large flock of Golden Plover.
At one stage something spooked them and they all took off and flew around a few times before landing quite orderly in turn on the same patch of water.

Plovers in the stack.
They appeared to spiral down behind each other and then choosing a spot to pitch.

Just for fun a few close ups.

  2. Hei Roy! Miten paljon lintuja! Kyllä olisi kiva nähdä näitä lintuja edes yksi! Oliko seassa muita lintuja?

    1. Thanks Lyn. Yes, there is always a flock of some bird or other at Titchwell, but they don't always perform like that.
