The Chiffy Returns

Spring is definitely here when you first hear the Chiffchaff singing.
It also means that you are about to see more Spring migrating birds that follow on after the Chiffy.

  1. Ihana lintu. Helppo tunnistaa kun lintu laulaa. Muuten vaikea tuntea.

  2. As ver, my own rubbish photo of said bird put to shame! They just decided en-masse to all start singing on the same day

  7. I do love to hear the Chiffchaffs, as you say their arrival means that better days lie ahead and that they will soon be joined by a whole host of other returning migrants.

Great pics as well, especially considering their rather restless nature and their tendency to sing high up in the trees!
