More cracking photos Roy, there have certainly been more redpolls around this winter. The bird in your photos is certainly a striking and colourful individual :-)
I have only ever seen this bird once, that was 31/01/2010 in my garden, on the weekend of the RSPB bird count. Lovely pictures, it would be nice to see more of this bird along with the Siskins.
You are lucky to photograph this bird, is very beautifull !!
