More Redpoll

Although not in great numbers, I am seeing this species more frequently this Winter.

  5. More cracking photos Roy, there have certainly been more redpolls around this winter. The bird in your photos is certainly a striking and colourful individual :-)

    A lovely winter bird here although my feeder birds are mainly house sparrows with nuthatches and chickadees for the peanuts.

  9. I have only ever seen this bird once, that was 31/01/2010 in my garden, on the weekend of the RSPB bird count. Lovely pictures, it would be nice to see more of this bird along with the Siskins.
