More Bullfinch

As promised, more shots of the Bullfinch.
Standing near three Rowan trees was a good spot to watch Bullfinch feeding on the berries.
As usual they didn't make life that easy and twigs and berries were getting in the way also.
I shall have to return to these trees.

See what I mean about berries getting in the way (below).

This one was making a right pig of himself.

  2. Well done for getting these super images of the Bullfinches Roy (inc. previous post) it's not easy!
I really like the third image here, he really fancied that particular berry!!
As for those twigs and branches...I reckon it's about time that all those big brains behind the picture editing programs came up with a simple to use set of virtual secateurs!...[;o)

  4. Beautiful Bullfinch photos, Roy, both here and on your last post. They are such gorgeous little birds and I particularly love to see them in winter because their colours are so striking amongst the berries and bare branches.

  9. Hello Roy
You made me jealous with these shots of one of my favourite species. I like the second one from the bottom most because of the way he looks over his shoulder.
    Thank you for sharing,
    Sjerp
