I am still around and my recovery is going well.
Unfortunately, a week after the end of my treatment, the luxury apartment building that we live in had a fire on a balcony on an upper floor. It caused considerable smoke damage to apartments higher up from ours, This did not affect our apartment at all, but we are not yet able to return to our home. This is due to safety preparations before reoccupation can take place. This has completely upset our way of life and we are staying at the moment in a local Hotel.
Hopefully this will soon end for us and we can settle down again to normal life. Unfortunately it will cause considerable long term disruption to some of our neighbours on higher floors.
