In the South West we continue to have heavy rain most days and the rivers are running high and many fields are water logged. The Met Office have issued a series of flood warnings for the area.
I do walk a certain local area fairly regularly in order to record the nature and bird life and have done so for 3 years now. The weather currently appears to have had a considerable effect on this.
I am not observing the birds I would expect to see in early January.
From what I have observed the local nature Reserves have also suffered from the extreme weather.
So in this post I thought I would display images taken from my archives of what hopefully we can look forward to in the Spring and Summer time.
