Another butterfly shoot.
This time I went to a location where I would normally expect to find the Green Hairstreak and sure enough I found two vying for position on a Hawthorn bush. The beginning of May is a good time to find this species.
Three emerging species from hibernation below.
This Peacock below was enjoying the sun perched on a fallen tree trunk.
This Comma below was flying to and fro along a woodland track and pitching occasionally.
The male Brimstone rarely pitches for long at this time of the year, apart from feeding.

Which macrolens do you use?
Thanks Helma, some of the shots were taken with an Olympus 60mm Macro lens and some with an Olympus 40-150mm pro lens.
