My latest series of from the window images.
As you can see it is with a difference as we have had our first snowfall here of this winter.
The images are pretty poor and full of noise, but you can get the general idea.
More snow forecast for tomorrow, but Wednesday is forecasted as a bright day and hopefully I can obtain some snow scenes and bird life from the parkland.
It certainly looks like winter has finally arrived doesn't it Roy :-) Here's hoping for some brighter weather tomorrow or later in the week for some winter photography :-)
ReplyDeleteIt certainly has David.
DeleteFrom the window; the comfortable way to bird. lol
ReplyDeleteThe Goldfinch looks like he's about to jump at you.
Yes and a good supply of tea Keith.{:))
DeleteYou've beaten me to it Roy! I've also spent a large part of today photographing the birds, and snow, through the window, but mine are still waiting to be processed!!
ReplyDeleteYou've managed to capture a good selection here. Good luck for the snow scenes on Wednesday...[;o)
It's a good way to bird Trevor. Thanks.
DeleteA nice selection there Roy. Goldfinches always look extra colourful in the snow.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jan.
DeleteThose birds look none too happy with the snow. In fact the dove look downright disgusted! Hope the sun cheers up everyone.
ReplyDeleteThanks Wilma, yes being resident birds they have had a lousy wet summer, now they have got this to put up with.
DeleteHey Roy...Well I want to know why you wasn't out in that snow snapping shots..made of sugar are ya ; ) You're not going to melt, but the snow will, so go out and enjoy!!
ReplyDeleteYour window images are fine...I like the Goldfinches bold colors, not to worry birds are survivors..the Bluebirds I have here are migrators ,but seem to be doing fine!!
Grace
PS I didn't hear any noise at all ; ) lol!!
Thanks GG, I heard a lot of noise though.{:))
DeleteNo snow down here in Dorset yet, but it is forcast for snow on Friday for us, I hope, I like the snow makes a change from rain:)
ReplyDeleteYes it does make a change Lyn.
DeleteI think your temperatures a better than ours.
It reminds me of my wife's holiday napkins. Somehow she managed to get ones with British birds. I was able to tell everyone what they were because I learned them here!
ReplyDeleteHey thats great Steve.{:))

ReplyDeleteHi Roy,
I also shoot through the window and that is not always easy. Still, you'll have a nice variation of birds such as the chaffinch, blackbird, but the putter. Very nice weather.
Hi Roy
ReplyDeleteNice photos you have some lovely colourful birds.
Guy
