The Secretive Cetti's

Very easy to hear, never easy to find and photograph.
It's song is so loud it belies its actual size.
There has been a resident bird in the Parkland for sometime.
I have heard it on many occasions, but actually finding it in the clear to be able to get an image is something else.

Here are a few poor obstructed images.

  1. The first time I heard a Cetti's Warbler I peered into the undergrowth and there it sat in full view! I didn't even know what it was at the time. It was an awful long time till I even glimpsed one again and I've never seen it as well as I did on that first occasion of undiluted beginner's luck.
