Meadow Crane's-bill

The Meadow Crane's-bill (Geranium pratense) is a small blue flower that could almost go unnoticed  as one walks by a patch of them growing. Closer inspection reveals that they are a dainty and beautiful species especially in the right lighting conditions.

I couldn't decide which one of these to post so I presented all three.

Sony Alpha 6000. 55-210mm lens. 1/400 at f8. (315mm) ISO400.

  8. Lovely Roy :-)

By the way, up the road from where I live, Morden Bog, a rare eagle has turned up, the Short Toed Eagle. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-dorset-27656057 Quite exciting but I would not want to go to Morden Bog at the moment with so many people visiting the area to see this eagle. My Partner often goes running at Morden Bog.
