Reed Bunting

The Reed Bunting (Emberiza schoeniclus)

I found these two males on seed feeders in the Parkland.
Unfortunately they are not in their best plumage as yet.

  3. Great to see Roy, who puts the food out?
( the Flowering Larch I found at the park is a Japanese Larch, photos here. )http://huntingtrees.blogspot.co.uk/2014/02/larch.html

  5. I've been watching Reed Buntings many times over the past year, but I've never seen one on a feeder. Terrific photos of them, Roy.
